(The) Q:WIR is the first queer youth center in Vienna for queer young people
between the age of 12 and 27. Allies and friends are also very welcome. We are
located in the 16 th district and are open from Tuesday to Saturday. Our priority is to
provide a safer space for queer teenagers where they can hang out and have an
opportunity to connect with peers and create their own community. Our activities are
based on a participatory process with our visitors and range from recreational
activities to excursions or workshops such as linoleum printing or vogueing. If
needed, we also offer support with topics that concern the lifeworld of queer
adolescents.
